Welcome to The Aircraft Golfing Society
The objectives of the AGS are to promote contact, communication and friendship between executives in the Aircraft and Defence industries, by members and their guests playing golf together on the most beautiful and well-known courses in the country (see Fixtures tab).
Another way of putting it is that the AGS is a happy band of friendly, welcoming businessmen and women, and golfers in the Aircraft Industry, determined to have some relaxation at their favourite sport to counteract the pressures of business.
The AGS also has charitable aims, with proceeds from money raised going to nationally recognized charities chosen by the Captain and Members.
Social functions include the AGM & Dinner and the annual Christmas Luncheon held on the second Monday in December. This year it will be held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London. This occasion is usually attended by around 700 from within the industry.
