Ashridge - 8th June 2021​

It was a wonderful day out for all the golfers at Ashridge on 8th June.  Always such a welcoming club and a very popular one to visit as it is such an interesting course.  It was in perfect condition and a joy to play.  Tim Bygate involved so many of his extended family for the golf day and, by the end of the day, I think most of the players felt like they were part of “The Bygate Family”!  Tim also very kindly sponsored this event with some very generous prizes.  Thank you Tim.  He even won his own second prize – well played!
 
Some excellent golf was played, especially by one of our newer members, Robert Sims.  Robert had a fantastic round with 37 points and won the Dunlop Salver.  Well played Robert!  Unfortunately Robert was unable to be presented with the Salver on the day, but there is a plan to present this at Sunningdale.

It cannot go unnoticed that one of Tim’s guests, David Hicks, scored an amazing 43 points on the day – well played David!  In fact the other two guest prizes were also won by Tim’s family – a good family day out!
