Woking, 29th September
After a lot of changes, persuasion and manoeuvring we had the most brilliant day out at Woking!
Fabulous weather and everyone so enjoyed the course as it was in such incredible condition. Members and guests couldn’t praise the day enough, and Woking coped extremely well with the catering arrangements whilst taking into consideration all the social distancing rules. A good day was had by all!
Unfortunately we were not allowed to have a prize-giving so, therefore, there was no sponsor or prizes for the day – a “day off” for Gary as no speeches necessary! On the more positive side we did have some amazing scores by two of our members and one of our guests. John McCarthy and David Snelson both came in with 39 points and David pipped John by winning on the back 6! David’s guest Arnie Singh (soon to become a member) playing off 5 and came in with an outstanding 40 points! Well played all of you.
