Parkstone, 24th April 2019
Parkstone was played on the 24th April 2019 and the players were very lucky and missed all the rain that day. This fantastic course was enjoyed by all the members and they all remarked that the course was in excellent condition. So, for those of you who missed out this year, do remember this event for next year.
The day was very generously sponsored by Magellan and Jason Addis presented the prizes along with Stuart Burdess (standing in for Tony Cash)- well done Stuart! Two of the Magellan team were in the prizes – the first guest prize winning with a brilliant score of 40 points!
Congratulations to the following winners:
Members:
1st Nick Ryan 39 points ocb on back 6 (handicap cut by 2 shots) – Ingersoll Trophy
2nd Austin Smith 39 points (handicap cut by 1 shot)
3rd Tim Bygate 35 points
Guests:
1st Rob Soen 40 points (who won the Visitor shield)
2nd Shane Taylor 35 points
3rd Joe Collins 34 points
The “Nearest The Pin” was won by Mike Bryant, a guest of Martyn Wickens. He won a fabulous golf bag which was very generously donated by our Captain, Steve Fitz-Gerald.
Between the “Nearest the Pin” entries and the Blob Bucket we raised £242 for the Captain’s charity. Thank you to all of you that contributed.
Many thanks to Graham Gabb for kindly taking the prizegiving photos.
